Hello again everyone! I know it's been quite sometime since I posted on this blog, but I wanted to talk a little bit about the ALIVE Christian Music Festival, because I think it is going to one good time!

How many different concerts would you have to go to catch even a fraciton of all the great artists that will be at our disposal? One dozen? Three dozen? A dozen dozen? And while it may seem a little expensive, fundraising efforts should help bring the cost down substantially.

If you have any interest at all in going, talk to me and we will make sure that it happens! It is going to be a lot of fun to camp and enjoy the beach and concerts available to us. Don't miss out!

We are over a week away, but I am looking forward to our Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing event. This will be the first time I have personally participated in the project and it seems awesome.

After watching the video on Sunday at Thrive, I had no idea how large Operation Christmas Child program is, spanning across the globe. This is an opportunity for Thrive to participate in a global mission project, bringing the Gospel to thousands of kids all over the globe.

I have to say I am getting pretty excited about the Outreach Meeting this Sunday! It's my first one as the youth pastor for Thrive and I am also excited to see what God is going to pull off!

But I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to give away some Pistons tickets. I mean, who wouldn't want to get a free dinner for themselves and two of their friends along with tickets to a Pistons game! AND the whole event will be chaperoned by me! How cool is that. I am excited.

Hello to the Blogosphere! It has been quite some time since I gave my peace on the Internet, but with my return to Thrive, so returns Brendan's Blog!

I am going to keep this short, cause it's Friday and the work day is almost done, but I wanted to let you all know how excited I am about the Fall! We are going to have a great time and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way. Our Kick-Off event on Sept. 13 is going to be a blast, and we're going to give some stuff away! Well, not just give it away, but there will be prizes at stake. Join us and you might just have a chance to win!
